The Colonnade Hotel

Collateral pieces for The Colonnade Hotel are printed on a variety of stocks ranging from uncoated to coated sheets; their calling cards are metallically embossed on a charcoal duplex sheet. The challenge: ensure a visual cohesiveness for all pieces, especially in terms of color consistency.

Murphy & Company advised eliminating all process color matching. We recommended a specific pms gray for both uncoated and coated sheets. The selected pms colors closely matched the charcoal duplex stock of the calling cards. The results were more than satisfactory - a uniform look through exact adherence to color densities for each specific stock finish.
